The Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation Myrtle Beach and the Sea Turtle Symposium will assume no responsibility for any vendor goods left unattended during hours that Security is not provided.

Table size; Signs:

Six-foot tables, draped and skirted. If you are bringing your own booth set-up, please contact the Vendor Chair to advise of size. No banners, signs, etc. may be affixed to any hard surface. If you require a banner or sign hung, please contact the Vendor Chair. Hotel charges for hanging banners or signs are the responsibility of Vendors.

Shipping Materials: Due to limited hotel storage space, vendors shipping materials ahead of time need to make arrangements with Convention Makers, 5702-B S. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577; phone: 843-828-0828; fax: 843-828-4232.

Vendor Representatives:

Representatives for each Vendor are limited to four people. All organizations exhibiting must pay the Symposium registration fee. Please email or mail (227 Lafayette Road, Coatesville, PA 19320) to me the names of the four representatives for your table/booth as soon as possible. Limiting the number of people will aid greatly in security and will allow only these individuals to gain access to the vendor area while security is provided in the evenings. Each of the four representatives will receive a special vendor badge designation. The security personnel will be supplied with a name list of the approved vendors and their representatives.

Publicity description:

A brief description of your table (organization, display, sale items) will be requested ahead of the symposium. Please provide a main contact person for publicity purposes.

The Coastal Discovery MuseumThe Coastal Discovery Museum is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to education through hands-on exploration of the history, wildlife, and heritage of coastal Carolina. The Museum is located on Hilton Head Island and offers indoor and outdoor exhibits, classes, tours, and cruises focused on the unique cultural history and natural ecology of the area. The Museum also conducts the Hilton Head Sea turtle Protection Project in conjunction with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. Pro PeninsulaPro Peninsula is dedicated to empowering communities and organizations on the Baja California peninsula to protect and preserve their environment. Among their community-based programs, Pro Peninsula coordinates the activities of the Grupo Tortuguero, or Sea Turtle Conservation Network- a large network of individuals, communities, and institutions working to protect sea turtles. Through monitoring, education, and international exchanges, the organization strives to better understand sea turtles, their place in the natural environment and how best to protect them. The Sea Turtle Conservation League of Singer IslandThe Sea Turtle Conservation League of Singer Island is a non-profit/volunteer organization from Palm Beach County, Florida. SWOTInitiated three years ago by Conservation International, Duke University, the International Sea Turtle Society, and the IUCN Marine Turtle Specialist Group, the State of the World's Sea Turtles (SWOT) is now a growing worldwide network. More than 200 individuals and organizations contribute sea turtle data from their local projects and partake in sea turtle conservation outreach and communication activities for this initiative. At this symposium, representatives of SWOT will launch SWOT Report II, the second volume of an annual publication that uses maps, high-quality photographs, and targeted articles to illustrate the global status of sea turtles and conservation efforts to protect them.
