In particular, Louis Liebenberg, a South African scientist very interested in the tracking capacity of Bushmen in Kalahari, invented the Cybertracker, a palmtop computer associated with a GPS receiver. Liebenberg developed an efficient software to enable even non-literate users to gather large quantities of geo-referenced data for field observations. |
